DMCA Policy - Tiker.io

Last Updated: 2025/11/18

Tiker.io respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at https://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement.

1. Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content facilitated by our tool infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Tiker.io to locate the material (e.g., the specific TikTok URL);
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2. Tiker.io as a Service Provider

Tiker.io is a technical service provider (under DMCA Section 512). Our platform does not host, store, or archive any video content on our own servers. We provide a tool that allows users to access and download publicly available content directly from TikTok's servers. Since we do not host the files, we cannot "remove" the content from the source, but we can block specific URLs from being processed through our service.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that the content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, you may send a counter-notice to our Copyright Agent.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

Tiker.io terminates user access and blocks IP addresses of those who are determined to be repeat infringers of the copyrights of others.
